Job Overview:
Our client currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Restaurant & Bar Manager.

Main responsibilities:
As the Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will be expected to take complete control and accountability for the day to day food and beverage operation throughout the hotel, including the C&E Operations ensuring the highest level of service is offered to all guests.

The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate would posses excellent knowledge of food and wine and be passionate about hospitality. This position requires at least 2 years experience within a restaurant and bar environment. Outstanding leadership skills are required along with a clear vision of the level of service that is expected.

Direct experience with hotel businesses is not required, though some knowledge of the industry would be beneficial, as would experience working with restaurants, bars, or events-based sites across both desktop and mobile. The ideal candidate would be both resourceful, efficient, and with an outstanding eye for detail.

Duties will include:

  • Ensure departments are meeting set criteria, through confirming that all employees consistently achieve product and hospitality service standards.
  • To empower the team to be able to handle all guest feedback positive and negative.
  • To ensure all service standards are maintained throughout the food and beverage operation of the hotel.
  • Ensure that Company and legal standards for cleanliness are maintained within all food and beverage areas.
  • Managing, encouraging and developing the food and beverage team.
