Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding service. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining areas
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions guests may have
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings and basic wine knowledge is a plus
- Food safety and hygiene certification is desirable
