Job Overview:

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team as Leisure and Spa Manager at The Carnoustie Golf Hotel.

Main responsibilities of the Leisure and Spa Manager:

As the Leisure and Spa Manager you will be expected to ensure the sooth running of the leisure and spa department on a daily basis, whilst managing all budgets and ensuring the safety of guests.

Requirements of the Leisure and Spa Manager:

The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years experience working in a similar position and have excellent team management skills. Outstanding communication and organisation skills are crucial to this role.

Direct experience with hotel businesses is not required, though some knowledge of the industry would be beneficial, as would experience working with restaurants, bars, or events-based sites across both desktop and mobile. The ideal candidate would be both resourceful, efficient, and with an outstanding eye for detail.

Duties of the Leisure and Spa Manager will include:


  • Ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to within the facilities.
  • Ensure the management of all budgets, forecasting, promotion and sales to achieve Company targets.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is provided by yourself and the team.
  • Manage, encourage and motivate the leisure club team.
  • Ensure the standards of cleanliness within the department are maintained and comply with Company and legal requirements.
